We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries about menu items. Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate processing of payments. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various brewing methods. Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety guidelines. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Proficiency in food handling practices to ensure safe preparation and serving of food items.
