Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper serving procedures. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently. Experience with food handling, cashiering, or retail math is a plus for success in this role.
