Cafe Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a grocery store, restaurant, or café setting. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in food handling and service. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries to enhance their shopping or dining experience. Operate cash registers accurately, processing transactions efficiently while ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in food handling and preparation, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. Engage with customers to promote menu items or special offers through effective upselling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours and special events. Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and payment processing as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store, restaurant, or café is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic culinary skills are advantageous. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations is highly valued.
