!! Must be available to work early morning shifts and some weekends are required. We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Barista to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing a variety of coffee beverages and light food items. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, balancing registers at the start and end of shifts Assist in inventory management through stocking and merchandising efforts to keep the sales floor inviting and organized Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Previous supervising experience is a plus for supporting team members and maintaining store operations Ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings to serve diverse customer needs Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Strong merchandising skills with attention to detail in product placement and stock organization Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a fast-paced environment.
