In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, expertly prepares and serves high-quality coffee beverages, and provides exceptional customer service. You will also assist with gallery sales, helping customers select unique art pieces while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Assist customers in gallery sales by explaining artwork details, processing purchases, and maintaining visual displays. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and preparation tasks. Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and sales documentation. Support inventory management by restocking supplies, organizing merchandise, and tracking sales data accurately. Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee preparation skills and knowledge of café operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experience. Ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing. Experience in retail sales or gallery environments is a plus, with an understanding of visual merchandising. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and serving protocols within the food industry.
