Barista/ 7am - 2pm Saturday and Sunday

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries, as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
• Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding quality standards, portion control, and inventory management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the food service industry preferred
• Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
• Strong cash handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
