Barista (part time)

The Part-Time Barista prepares and serves coffee, espresso beverages. teas and Matchas and some food that will later be added to the menu items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. This role also supports café operations such as inventory management and participates in social media content creation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas and matcha latte and food items according to standard recipes. Take customer orders accurately and process payments using a POS system. Provide friendly, efficient service and create a welcoming customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and service areas. Restock supplies, condiments, and ingredients as needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including HACCP standards. Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and lifting supplies. Carry and move inventory, including heavier items upto 20 kg, as needed. Participate in social media activities, including appearing in and helping record reels or promotional content. Maintain excellent personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times. Stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Follow instructions closely and work collaboratively with team members. Perform opening, closing, and other assigned duties as needed.
