Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling and preparation techniques Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive café experience for all guests Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and transaction accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Assist with food service tasks such as serving baked goods, snacks, or light meals while adhering to food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or accuracy Experience Prior barista experience in a fast-paced café or retail environment is preferred Familiarity with coffee preparation methods and food handling procedures Experience using POS systems like Toast POS for sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques Ability to perform retail math, cash handling, and cashiering accurately under pressure Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours Embark on a rewarding journey in the vibrant world of coffee and food service!
