Position Overview:

As a Counter Service Team Member, you will be the face of Sunbird, providing friendly, efficient service to our guests while helping to create a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for food and coffee, and is excited to contribute to the team's success.

What You'll Be Doing:

Greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly, professional attitude Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas Assemble and serve food items, ensuring accuracy and quality Handle cash and operate the POS system to process orders Maintain a clean, organized counter and dining area Restock supplies and keep the service station tidy Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Specific Requirements:

Able to work breakfast and lunch shifts (6 AM - 3 PM) Previous experience in a counter service or customer-facing role preferred, but not required A positive attitude and a passion for food, coffee, and hospitality Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Comfortable operating a POS system and handling cash transactions

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
