Job Summary Join our vibrant Smoothie team as a Barista, working mornings from 8am to 3pm! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle food preparation and food handling tasks according to safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Manage cash register operations with accuracy using basic math skills and retail math principles Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Basic math skills for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Flexibility to work weekdays mornings from 8am to 3pm as well as weekends required Embark on a rewarding journey in the café industry where your energy makes every guest's experience memorable! Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
