Staff Description:
Rooted Cafe Staff Job Description The Center for Arts at the Armory is hiring part-time staff to work in our cafe! We are a cafe and small venue located within the Somerville Armory, home to musical performances, art exhibitions, farmers markets, and a diverse array ofmunity events. We hope to add an experienced foodservice professional with nighttime and weekend availability to our growing team.
Qualifications:
General responsibilities include preparing food and coffee drinks, taking customer orders, bartending, stocking, cleaning, and receiving. Nighttime and weekend availability is essential! Hours are not always consistent, with the busiest times of year being the fall and the spring. Successful applicants either already have or are able to obtain TIPS and ServSafe certifications before starting employment.
