Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, payments, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries about menu items. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end. Assist in food handling and preparation tasks, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently. Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is preferred but we will train; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus. Familiarity with a POS systems is desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling practices, and proper serving techniques.
