Dulceology Bakery is seeking passionate, energetic and experienced Retail Bakery Associates to join our team. Responsibilities may include preparing pre-orders, helping arrange bakery displays with our donuts, cupcakes, cookies and pastries according to morning production schedule and orders. Candidates must be self-starters, have a strong work ethic, ability to work standing for long periods and a commitment to detail and quality. Responsibilities:

Maintains front house organized with restocked pastry display shelves and ensuring pastry boxes are always available. Fulfilling espresso coffee and matcha orders as per recipe instructions Folding pastry boxes and restocking shelves at the end of shift. Checking online orders and preparing pre-orders for the day. Assist with some bakery production, if needed (piping Alfajor cookies, glazing, weighing, storing, labeling) Communicate effectively with coworkers, managers and baking team on new upcoming orders, customer issues and other bakery related information. Answering bakery phone for customers with questions or placing orders over the phone. Properly opening or closing the storefront and performing opening/closing tasks including but not limited to: taking trash out, sweeping, mopping and washing remaining dishes and tabletops. Maintaining your work area clean and organized.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Positive, friendly and team player attitude is a must! Ability to work weekends and some early mornings. Prior experience in a bakery establishment is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part as a team. Great attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Capable of working in a fast paced production and service environment. Some knowledge of baking and ingredients is useful but can be learned with time.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience in Customer Service related field preferred Food Safety certification is a plus but not required •Pay is dependent on education, experience and qualifications.
