Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling tasks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Support food preparation activities, including assembling food items and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is highly preferred. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
