As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea and smoothie beverages with precision and care. Operate the Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the store area, including counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation and serving items as needed while ensuring compliance with food handling regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales and register operations. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork and communication. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with bubble tea or smoothie preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience using POS systems is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. A commitment to food safety practices and attention to detail in food preparation processes.
