Overview Join our vibrant café team as a dedicated and energetic Barista! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for every guest through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Clover efficiently for order processing and cash handling Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices Manage cash transactions accurately while balancing registers at shift end using retail math skills Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth café operations Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within a café or retail environment, experience not needed but preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover for efficient sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Effective time management to handle busy periods seamlessly while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and serving procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your passion for coffee and dedication to service can truly shine!
