Barista/ice cream scooper

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scooper/ Barista to join our team! In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream and other treats. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting (or in the winter you are ok with slow down time), this position is perfect for you. Duties Serve ice cream and learn how to make delicous coffee and other drinks, and other menu items to customers with a smile Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space Operate the Square POS system efficiently for order processing Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Experience with Square POS systems is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques Previous experience in food service or retail environments preferred Barista or coffee experience is an added advantage Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated Join us in creating delightful experiences for our customers as an Ice Cream Scooper/Barista!
