Duties Excellent customer service and sales techniques. Trouble shoot and maintain equipment. Lead food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures. Manage POS transactions using Square POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing. Support the team in serving beverages, food items, and managing customer inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism. Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the café environment. Train new team members on POS systems, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Handle cash register functions including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Experience Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and coffee art. Proven leadership skills or experience as a shift supervisor or team lead in a café or retail setting. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving best practices. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
