Barista

The Bridge Coffee Shop in Falmouth is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Barista to join our fast-paced and customer-focused team. Our Baristas are cross-trained in all areas of the coffee shop and expected to deliver excellent service while maintaining The Bridge Coffee Shop's high standards for drink quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This position requires the ability to work independently, recall drink recipes, and operate barista equipment safely. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively are essential. Compensation for this position ranges from $13.73 to $15.00 per hour plus tips. Based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable customer service at all times. Prepare all beverages to The Bridge Coffee Shop standards. Manage, stock, and maintain the fresh bakery case, ensuring cleanliness, freshness, and visual appeal. Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions. Keep work and service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Assist customers with product questions, promotions, and recommendations. Support shop closing and deep-cleaning tasks. Maintain compliance with all safety and sanitation procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Must be 18 years of age Must be able to lift 35 pounds Must be able to work flexible hours, Opening, mid-day and closing shifts.
