Overview Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream & Dessert Team Member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests! In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, serving up delicious treats and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Your energy and attention to detail will help us deliver top-notch customer service in a fast-paced, fun environment. Whether you're scooping ice cream, preparing desserts, or managing transactions, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. Responsibilities Serve a variety of ice cream, desserts, and beverages with enthusiasm and precision Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas Assist customers with selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service Prepare food items according to safety guidelines and company standards, including food handling and basic food prep Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Experience Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, especially in café or dessert settings Barista experience or coffee industry background is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with serving beverages and handling food safely Strong skills in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS are advantageous Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and serving standards Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude Join us to be part of a dynamic team that thrives on creating joyful moments through delicious desserts!
