Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Handle food preparation and service, ensuring quality standards are consistently met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for sales and change Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly Assist in food handling, serving food items, and maintaining a tidy café environment to ensure a welcoming space for all guests Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; enthusiasm for learning is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and cash handling accurately Experience in food service or retail math is advantageous; a background in the food industry is beneficial Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Barista where your energy fuels our success!
