Barista

Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for receiving and filling guest orders for the day, handling food in a safe manner and ensuring the work area is always clean & neat. Additionally the position will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient guest service to guests and team members. The role serves both specialty coffee drinks and some alcohol. This position owns the area when working, providing a high level experience consistent with our service values of gratitude, respect attentiveness, consistency and a pursuit of excellence.

Job Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older, as this role requires associates to handle alcoholExcellent guest service skillsDetail-orientation in work approachStrong listener and communicatorMulti-tasking skills, and ability to share focus on many tasks/initiatives simultaneouslySelf-starter, innovator, results-driven with ability to meet both short and long term business goalsAbility to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent experience Guest service/hospitality preferably in higher end coffee/restaurant establishment
