POSITION SUMMARY

The Barista creates a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer by delivering fast, friendly service and consistently high-quality products. This role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food items according to company standards while ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. The Barista contributes to the overall success of the team by following operational procedures, upholding food safety standards, and bringing positive energy to every interaction.

Wage starting at:

$12.00-$13.00, plus $10 tips per day!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service & Sales Growth:

Deliver Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience through warm, friendly, and genuine interactions. Prepare and serve all beverages and food items according to brand recipes, quality, and presentation standards. Engage customers by answering questions, providing product education, and offering suggestions. Proactively upsell complementary items, gift cards, and merchandise to grow sales. Ensure accuracy and efficiency when taking orders, processing payments, and handling cash transactions.

Operational Excellence & Efficiency:

Meet speed of service guidelines while maintaining accuracy and quality during peak and non-peak hours. Keep workstations, supplies, and merchandise fully stocked to optimize workflow. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of coworker and customer areas, adhering to health and safety standards. Operate, clean, and maintain store equipment to ensure reliability and functionality. Use downtime productively by preparing for upcoming rush periods and assisting teammates.

Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and prepared for each scheduled shift. Uphold a positive, flexible, and energetic attitude that contributes to team morale. Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
