Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions and change. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including serving food items and ensuring proper food presentation. Demonstrate excellent time management to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience or strong coffee industry knowledge is preferred; experience with serving in café or retail environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and basic math for cashiering tasks. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Basic understanding of retail math, cash handling, and food industry standards is beneficial.
