Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems. Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in food industry settings or retail environments is advantageous but not required.
