Barista Shift Leader

Duties Lead and supervise the café team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks according to company standards Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately Oversee food safety protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and coordinate food preparation to meet customer demand Provide training, coaching, and support to team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills Drive sales through suggestive selling techniques while ensuring a positive café atmosphere Requirements Proven barista experience with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food service operations Experience with POS systems is preferred Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Join us as a Barista Shift Leader to inspire your team, delight our customers with outstanding coffee experiences, and grow your career in the vibrant food industry!
