Barista

Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, craft high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about coffee, food service, and creating memorable guest experiences. Prior barista or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency Operate POS system for order processing and cash handling Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers about menu items Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Skills Preferred experience as a Barista or in the food service industry; familiarity with café operations is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation Organizational skills and the ability to multitask Experience in serving, coffee preparation, and food handling is desirable Join our team if you are passionate about delivering exceptional coffee and food experiences in a welcoming environment!
