Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in our café, preparing high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. If you have a love for coffee and a knack for engaging with people, we want to hear from you! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and enhance the overall customer experience. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required. Strong skills in food preparation, basic math, cash handling, and operating a cash register. Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
