While we're a new café, our standards are high and our vision is clear: exceptional coffee, genuine service, and a space where guests feel welcomed, remembered, and excited to return. We're seeking experienced Beverage Specialists who bring strong espresso knowledge, confidence behind the bar, and a guest-first mindset. This role is ideal for coffee professionals who enjoy connecting with people, recommending products, and earning strong tips in a high-energy, service-driven environment. This position is hourly + tips and includes sales performance expectations. Who You Are You have 1+ years of hands-on experience working with espresso in a specialty coffee environment You are confident dialing in espresso, steaming milk, and executing drinks consistently during peak hours You understand that great service includes suggestive selling, menu knowledge, and product recommendations You take pride in your workspace, your craft, and the guest experience You're dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or supporting team flow You bring a positive, professional energy and know how to read guests and elevate their experience Key Responsibilities Prepare high-quality espresso and coffee beverages using manual and/or semi-automatic equipment Dial in espresso daily and adjust grind, dose, and yield based on taste and extraction Steam and texture milk correctly for lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and specialty beverages Deliver warm, engaging customer service while maintaining speed and accuracy Upsell and recommend beverages, add-ons, food items, and retail products to support daily sales goals Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times Assist with opening/closing duties, restocking, and daily café operations Communicate clearly with team members and support a smooth, efficient shift Help guide or support less experienced staff when needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of specialty coffee or espresso bar experience Strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage execution Familiarity with common brew methods (batch brew, pour-over, etc.) Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment Customer-service oriented with confidence in making recommendations Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience + high tip potential Sales-driven environment with opportunities to increase earnings through performance Flexible scheduling Supportive, team-oriented culture with clear standards Opportunity to contribute to service style, menu development, and café culture Long-term growth opportunities as the business expands How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us about your experience and what you enjoy most about working in coffee.
