Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using retail math and cash handling best practices Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are upheld Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks to meet quality standards Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive feedback Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or the food industry Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods seamlessly while maintaining quality standards Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and serving standards Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding coffee experiences!
