In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious ice cream treats. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, and other desserts according to customer preferences. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are stocked and ready for service. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Buss tables and maintain a tidy dining area for guests. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as square or clover is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
