Good Graces is Raleigh's newest eatery, bar, and market located in the heart of the newly developed North Hills Innovation District. Casually sophisticated and thoughtfully designed, Good Graces will be a multi-functional destination for our community to eat, drink, gather, and shop. We are seeking an individual who is positive, self-motivated, and has a passion for quality food, beverage, and service. This candidate must be able to foster teamwork and the ability to skillfully navigate a variety of personalities. We are looking to hire someone who holds themselves to a high standard of excellence and finds fulfillment and motivation in people management and the customer experience. The barista position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving coffee beverages and other menu items. This role requires a passion for coffee, strong communication skills, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about menu items, including coffee and tea options.

Coffee Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain a clean and organized workstation. Make syrups and cold foam in house.

Sanitation and Cleanliness:

Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace. Regularly clean and organize the coffee counter and seating areas.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to the management team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a coffee shop is required. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. A passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for individuals that have availability for a 4-6 hour block of time at least 3 days a week between the hours of 7:30 am and 6 pm.
