Barista

Morning Times Cafe is a beloved downtown Raleigh coffee shop known for exceptional coffee, warm hospitality, and creating a welcoming space where community happens. We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and hospitality-driven Barista who loves people just as much as great coffee. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and café menu items to recipe standards Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism Accurately take guest orders and process transactions through the POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and café environment Support opening and closing procedures Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards Assist with dishwashing, bussing, and general café upkeep as needed Work collaboratively with team members during high-volume rushes Build rapport with regular guests and contribute to a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere

Qualifications Preferred:
