Job Description
About us Our goal is to provide customers with an outstanding experience at our coffee shop with delicious (in-house roasted) coffee, sandwiches and locally made pastries. Our mission is to create an environment where customers can "Relax and put the world on pause for a while". •Pooled tips are additional to the pay range listed.•Duties Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea. Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning tables, counters, busing bins, dishes, and equipment Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverages Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service- Use POS system (e.g., Square POS) to input orders and process payments Practice time management to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs Efficiently execute closing procedures at the end of the work day, Requirements Must enjoy Espresso based drinks. Must have experience dialing in an Espresso Machine.(Manual Espresso Machine, Gravimetric Grinder, EK43 Single Dose Grinder) Previous experience as a barista is required. Detail oriented on cleaning and closing. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
