Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
• Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and addressing any questions or concerns
• Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
