We will offer an elevated atmosphere and guest experience with coffee service open to close, along with craft cocktails. Position Overview We're looking for a professional, reliable team member to join us primarily for morning barista shifts, with the opportunity to advance to evening bartending shifts as the bar grows and skill levels are established. Duties Attend paid training sessions Take orders from customers with kindness and patience, make informed suggestions, build respectful relationships with regulars, maintain positive attitude Handle cash and operate POS system confidently Learn and follow Doc's protocol for orders and cleaning, using our techniques and systems correctly and consistently Implement knowledge of coffee beverages and procedures while working in a fast paced environment Maintain cleanliness of the espresso machine, counters, lobby, and general work space Assist bartenders: take orders, collect/clean/dry/put away cocktail and coffee glasses, be ready to assist with stocking and cleaning demands on the fly (Mid/evening shifts) Show up to shifts in all black business casual attire, with good personal hygiene and attention to detail Follow food/drink safety standards and be informed on ALE rules Work well with a team, be open to feedback, and report any concerns to management Give proper notice for call-outs, and show up to your scheduled shifts on time Experience 1+ year of recent barista experience (within the last 2 years) Ability to dial in espresso and pull consistent, balanced shots Proper milk steaming and drink-making skills Knowledge of basic coffee drinks and espresso machine cleaning cycles Bartending experience preferred (not required) Strong customer service and people skills Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments
