We are looking for Baristas/Waffle Makers to prepare and serve our awesome coffee and waffles! Responsibilities include educating customers on our food/drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have good customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. We foster a collaborative environment where everyone learns every skill, and supports one another. Employee pay starts at a base of $10/hr with tips, averaging to an hourly wage each period of $15

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate the cash register and handle customer payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
• Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales ```

Experience:

```

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with retail math for calculating sales totals and making change
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with coworkers
