Job Description
The Local Grocer is hiring for our Cafe! We're looking for a barista to join our team. Duties include making espresso drinks, smoothies, and juices, and providing counter service for our breakfast and lunch menu, deli case, and bakery. You'll be chatting with guests, taking orders, and helping people find things they'll love, whether that's a favorite drink or something that fits their diet or preferences. We love when our team can make recommendations, suggest specials, and help guests discover new things. The right person is friendly, curious, and enjoys working with people. You don't need to know everything already - we're happy to train the right person but experience is preferred. What's most important is finding someone who's excited to learn about our food, ingredients, and the culture we have created here at The Local Grocer.
