Barista

Job Summary Café Steam is a welcoming and vibrant café! The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. We'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their café experience Manage order accuracy, food safety, and cleanliness during food preparation and serving Maintain cleanliness of the café environment, including counters, equipment, and seating areas Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks when require Requirements Previous Barista experience or background in food service or retail math is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and food preparation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings or afternoons as needed Join our team to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while developing your skills in a dynamic café setting.
