Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Barista to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining our high standards for beverage quality. Reporting to the Café Manager, you will manage the end-to-end customer experience—from taking orders and processing transactions to expertly preparing coffee and food items. We are looking for a candidate who values teamwork, attention to detail, and a professional work environment. AM Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

Expertly prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks and teas, adhering to our specific recipes and quality standards.

Customer Service:

Provide a welcoming and efficient experience for every guest, handling inquiries and orders with professionalism.

Operations & Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.

Cash Management:

Accurately handle cash and card transactions using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

Food Support:

Assist with light food preparation and restocking inventory as needed throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

Barista Experience:

Previous experience operating espresso machines and dialing in coffee is highly preferred. We value candidates who understand (or are eager to learn) the nuances of extraction, milk texturing, and drink presentation.

Customer-Centric Mindset:

You possess a natural ability to anticipate guest needs and build rapport. We are looking for someone who treats "regulars" like family and new guests like VIPs.

Composure & Speed:

You thrive in a high-volume environment. You can maintain drink quality and a calm, friendly demeanor even during the morning rush or when the line is out the door.

Communication & Teamwork:

Excellent verbal communication is a must. You should be comfortable calling out orders clearly, communicating with kitchen staff, and navigating a shared workspace with grace.

Operational Accuracy:

Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is a plus. You must be able to handle cash accurately and multitask between taking orders and preparing beverages without missing a beat. Why Join Us?
