Barista

Job Summary We are looking for a barista with experience in crafting espresso-based drinks; latte art is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include managing POS transactions (Square) and café orders, while also supporting the service team with customer care and floor duties such as delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate POS systems (Square POS) to process orders accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service that exceeds expectations. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards. Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. A team player and supporter who is ready to jump in to help where needed. Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience preferred; a passion for coffee is essential. Familiarity with Espresso Machine (Sanremo), milk frother, latter arts, Square POS systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in food service or the food industry is a plus; serving experience is beneficial.
