Barista/Server

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using retail math and cash handling skills. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation and serving light snacks or baked goods in accordance with health regulations. Manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management, ensuring prompt service during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a positive experience. Requirements Previous barista and server experience or coffee/restaurant background is highly preferred. Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards within the food service industry. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and work efficiently under pressure. A positive attitude with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
