We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista, Cashier & Server to join our team and help create an exceptional café experience for our guests.
Position Summary:
The Barista, Cashier & Server is responsible for preparing high-quality drinks, elixirs, smoothies, and fresh juices, handling cash and card transactions through Square POS , and serving light refreshments such as soups and small bites. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for wellness, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drink & Food Preparation:
Prepare a variety of café beverages, including coffee, teas, elixirs, smoothies, and fresh juices, following BODY Café's recipes and quality standards. Serve light refreshments such as pre-prepared soups and small bites. Ensure all food and beverage items meet presentation and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café prep area, including proper food storage and sanitation.
Customer Service & Sales:
Provide a welcoming and friendly experience for café guests, answering questions about menu offerings and making personalized recommendations. Process transactions quickly and accurately using Square POS , handling cash and card payments. Promote café specials, new products, and seasonal menu offerings to guests. Assist in managing café inventory, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed. Café
Operations & Cleanliness:
Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized café environment. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the café for service and cleaning equipment at the end of the shift. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient café operation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista, server, or cashier in a café, juice bar, or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems. Passion for wellness, plant-based nutrition, and organic ingredients. Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings.
