Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for someone to join our vibrant café team on Saturdays as an Experienced Part-time Barista, where your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service will shine! In this dynamic role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve food with a smile, and create a welcoming environment for every guest. Your expertise in coffee preparation, POS systems, and food handling will ensure smooth operations and memorable experiences. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Handle cash, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures with accuracy using retail math skills Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and during serving Assist in food handling, basic food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of café operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
