POSITION SUMMARY
To ensure friendly, efficient, accurate and effective service of food and beverage to all guests while maintaining a professional appearance. To assist the bartenders in all duties while maintaining appropriate levels of bar items. Assist in establishing and developing new repeat clientele.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
GUEST
SERVICE/COMMUNICATIONS
Ø Provide service to and is accountable for assigned station Ø Respond to Guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner Ø Anticipate Guest needs Ø Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures Ø Maintain all Sequence of Service Standards Ø Greet all Guests promptly and with a friendly and upbeat attitude Ø Provide information to Guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing Ø Recognize and cultivate regular Guests and repeat business Ø Ability to communicate in English with Guests and co-workers Ø Provide Guests with information and directions Ø Promptly inform management of any complaint, comments, or incidents Ø Working knowledge of portion control and product identification Ø Working knowledge of food allergy chart
CASH HANDLING
Ø Maintain accurate count of all assigned bar monies Ø Prepare Guest checks through POS terminal functions Ø Process Guest payment by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other appropriate tender types Ø Collect required signatures from Guests Ø Verify by checking Guest Identification when using credit card and/ or debit card Ø Responsible for following proper check out procedures
RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT
Ø Follow drink recipes when dispensing drinks Ø Recognize and acknowledge when Guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated Ø Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a Manager's attention Ø Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as company and/or departmental policies/procedures Ø Comply with all state and federal liquor laws
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
Ø Ensure and maintain overall cleanliness of station and establishment by keep working area and surrounding working areas in compliance with all state safety and health regulations Ø Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift Ø Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed Ø Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately Ø Clean all spills and waste immediately, sweep and mop as needed Ø Place all trash in proper receptacles Ø Clean and sanitize bar tops and tables as needed Ø Performs related duties as assigned
RESPONSIBILITIES / TEAMWORK / DEPARTMENT
Ø Responsible for checking Guest identification Ø Provide service to servers in a timely manner Ø Obtain and maintain all valid work cards Ø Maintain a neat and clean appearance in compliance with DLR uniform standards and guidelines Ø Assist all other team members as needed Ø Create and maintain a
SENSE OF URGENCY
Ø Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage product Ø Responsible to insure all stocking is complete and any shortage of stock is reported to management Ø Promptly inform management of any complaint, comments or incident Ø Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the DLR philosophy Ø Publicity / promotional activities: Pose for pictures as requested by management. Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials when requested Ø Performs related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
Ø High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Ø Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Ø Experience in hospitality working in a high volume restaurant Ø Valid Drivers License Ø 21+ years of age Ø Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to DLR standards Ø Possession of/or ability to possess a valid NV Alcohol Awareness Card, NV Health and a Card NV Sheriffs Card
WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ø Liquor, beer, wine brand names Ø Knowledge of drink recipes Ø Knowledge of basic menu item recipes Ø Proper lifting techniques Ø Inventory and stock rotation Ø Guest relations Ø Sanitation and safety Ø Proper garnish presentation Ø Entry level of high volume restaurant operations
