Coffee Barista/Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that each drink is made to perfection.

MUST SPEAK PORTUGUESE AND ENGLISH

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Handle food items safely while adhering to all health regulations. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Answer any questions of a customer and have knowledge about the food being served. Able to accept and hand orders to food delivery drivers. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation. Basic math skills to assist with transactions and inventory management. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus. Food Protection Certificate HIGHLY recommended Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
