Full Job Description Job Overview:

Join our young & exciting team as a Barista/Cashier! We are a women owned, family run small local coffee shop in Buffalo, NY.

THIS IS NOT JUST A SUMMER POSITON

• MUST

BE AVAILABLE AT LEAST 2 WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS THROUGH THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes with precision
• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operate POS system to process orders and handle payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the coffee bar and seating area
• Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served
• Assist in stocking and replenishing cafe items as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in customer service or the food industry preferred
• Previous barista experience is preferred
• Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions and making change
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn
• Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours
• Our weekends get extremely busy so you must be able to work & stay organized in a fast pace environment.
