Customer Service / Barista / Bartender

Customer Service Associates, Baristas & Bartenders Opened in Spring 2024, Ellicottville Bake Shop has quickly become a community favorite, known for its fresh, delicious offerings and warm, inviting atmosphere. With operations expanding to include the Alpine Bistro (located in the former Adventure Bound space), we are continuing to grow and are seeking passionate Customer Service Associates, Baristas, Bartenders, and individuals interested in potential managerial opportunities to join our team and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Create a welcoming and positive customer experience. Greet customers and assist with coffee, espresso, or beverage preparation, baked goods selection, and purchases. Operate the POS system and process payments accurately. Restock display items and maintain product presentation. Price and package baked goods and beverages for sale. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including food and beverage handling procedures. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Bartenders may assist with beer, wine, and specialty drink service depending on scheduling and events. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred. Previous experience in customer service, food service, barista, or bartender roles is highly desirable. Must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment and handle alcohol. Reliable transportation and strong attendance are required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Team-oriented with a positive attitude, eager to learn and grow. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
