Barista - MOTW Coffee & Pastries Join our team of passionate baristas at MOTW, where we serve high-quality drinks and create a welcoming space for everyone. As a barista, you'll craft a variety of beverages — from coffee and teas to smoothies — while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet all customers upon arrival Educate guests on our drinks, pastries, and food items Upsell specials and new menu offerings Take orders via the Clover POS system and label drinks accordingly Prepare pastries for dine-in or to-go Fulfill DoorDash orders promptly Follow all opening, daily, and closing procedures (tracked via Slack) Keep bar and café areas clean and organized Receive and restock inventory deliveries Handle deliveries from teammates, the owner, or partner companies Foster a positive, drama-free workplace with great energy

Experience & Qualifications:

Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required — we're happy to train enthusiastic candidates. Strong time management skills to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash and making accurate change. Familiarity with coffee preparation and equipment is a plus, but can be learned on the job.

Additional Duties:

Ensure brewing equipment is working and report issues Follow all health and safety protocols Communicate concerns or customer feedback to the manager Suggest new menu items Play to your strengths while supporting teammates Be flexible and open to process changes Complete deep cleaning tasks as assigned Always arrive on time and ready to work

Private Events:

Baristas may be offered shifts at private events Extra pay may be offered based on the event All regular opening, daily, and closing duties apply, plus any additional requests from managers or event coordinators
