Responsibilities Greet customers with enthusiasm and assist them in selecting menu items at the pizza counter Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including slicing, topping, and packaging pizzas and other menu offerings Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy work environment Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment Experience working in retail or grocery store settings is beneficial but not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in the food industry while delivering exceptional service.
